The Land & Air
Circle Island Adventure is a great way to explore the Big Island
from top to bottom in one afternoon. This amazing combo tour begins
in Kona when you step aboard a comfortable fixed wing air coach.
Your pilot then takes off north, across the island to the green
valleys, waterfalls and dramatic sea cliffs of the lush Hamakua
Coast. After this one hour scenic flight you will gently touchdown
in the charming and historical town of Hilo on the eastern shore.
There your land tour guide will be waiting in an air conditioned SUV
to begin the 3 to 4 hour driving portion of this excursion. You may
choose from the following land tour options:
-Hawaii Volcanoes National Park-
-Rainforest Revealed-
-Waterfall Journeys-
-Mauna Kea Summit-
Upon returning to the Hilo airport, your Big Island air tour
continues as you fly south to soar above the active Kilauea Volcano,
Pu’u O’o Vent, the current lava flow areas, black sand beaches and
the southern end of the Big Island to land back in sunny,
Kailua-Kona.
This tour includes snacks and beverages throughout the day, a picnic style lunch, plenty of restroom stops and photo opportunities!
